This seminar will explore the global emergence of the religious “right” and the associated growth of religious “fundamentalism” especially in Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Judaism and Sikhism. What is the impact of politicised religion in the UK especially in respect of rights of individuals and society generally? How should we deal with this emergence?
