East Midlands

We opened our office in Nottingham in 2005. Since then, we have made great strides to improve the reporting, and support provided to victims of racist and religious incidents across the region. We have done this through the provision of a helpline, through providing direct casework support to victims, and bringing together a range of agencies working with victims across the region to improve the consistency of services through training and support.

The region hosts some of the country’s most diverse cities, as well the largest rural area in the country. Our work with with rural communities is widely acknowledged and over the next 2 years we will be focusing our work in Lincolnshire to

1. Provide a casework service

2. Work with agencies across Lincolnshire to develop a hate crime forum in the region

3. Use arts and heritage to tackle racism in the region and promote a wider understanding of the diversity in the region.

4. Working with the gypsy communities to document their contribution to local heritage.

We are holding regular advice surgeries every wednesday in Lincoln

from 10.30am to 3.30pm at Call Advoacy Lincoln, Unit 12, Allenby Business Village, Crofton Road, Lincoln.
