Cabbie’s life of fear after racist attack

A TAXI driver today told how he lives his working life in fear after a drunken passenger racially attacked him.

Danny Foulds is behind bars after he told Rizwan Naseem “get out of my country” before punching him in the face during the journey from Tyne Dock, South Shields.

Newcastle Crown Court heard the 22-year-old had snapped after Mr Naseem asked him for a deposit towards his fare to Jarrow on May 11.

Dad-of-three Mr Naseem, who works for Central Taxis in South Shields, said he is scared to go to work after the brutal assault.
