A man was pelted with glass beer bottles during a racist attack in west London, police said.

The 27-year-old was allegedly subjected to racist abuse as he walked past The Moon On The Square pub in Feltham.

When he challenged the comment, he was pelted with three glass lager bottles  – one of which hit him in the head, and another in his lip.

The suspect, who is white and was wearing a cream jumper, then fled towards McDonalds, police said.

The victim was left needing a hospital check-up for swelling to his head and hip.
