Men sought by police after woman’s hair torched in ‘racist’ attack at McDonald’s

Cops have released images of men they want to track down in connection with a ‘racist’ attack where a woman’s hair was set on fire at a fast food restaurant

The woman was waiting for friends getting a bite to eat at McDonald’s in Canterbury, Kent, when the alleged incident took place between 2.05am and 2.30am on Friday.

A witnesses and friend of the victim has claimed the attack was racially-motivated.

Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Barry Carr of Kent Police said: “Fortunately the fire was put out quickly and the victim was not seriously hurt, but things could clearly have turned out much worse.

“This was a nasty and extremely dangerous thing to do, and I urge anyone who recognises the men in the CCTV images to contact me as soon as possible as they may have vital information for us.”
