Pupils help give racism the boot in Plymouth

SCHOOLCHILDREN from across Plymouth visited the home of Plymouth Argyle for an event aimed at preventing racism and Islamophobia.

Football stars Chris Barker and Bradley Wright-Phillips sat on a panel that took questions from about 300 children, mostly from Years 6 and 7. Defender Chris Barker said: “At the moment Muslims are having a hard time because of certain people who blame them for the actions of a small minority.
