A city broker is suing his former employers after he claims he was subjected to years of ‘racist abuse’.

Ozman Mirza, a British broker of Pakistani origin at Tradition Securities, claims white colleagues yelled abuse at him across the trading floor, branding him a ‘filthy f******* Indian’ and ‘curry muncher’

He said one senior broker even made the Nazi salute at him.

But Mr Mirza, who earned £70,000 a year plus bonuses, said managers failed to stop the racial slurs.

Instead he claims they joined in laughing at the workplace ‘banter’.

Mr Mirza said he did not speak out about the abuse because he feared he would lose his job. He said he was also ostracised by fellow brokers who stole his clients, the hearing was told.
