A council in Cambridgeshire has said it cannot consider some responses to a consultation on travellers’ sites because they are discriminatory.
More than 1,700 people and organisations made more than 5,000 representations about possible sites in South Cambridgeshire.
Some views cannot be published or considered, the borough council said.
This small number “could reasonably be interpreted as discriminatory”, it added.
In August, neighbouring Huntingdonshire District Council said it had to dismiss 150 comments made in a similar consultation because they were deemed racist.
